Danish style dark rye bread (rugbrød) with lots of cracked rye kernels, flax- and sunflower seeds. Leavened with our lively rye sourdough culture Thor. Works well when sliced thinly with diverse toppings like chease and ham, cheese and jam,  mature cheeses, cold cuts, liver pate & cornichons. It is a staple for Danish open sandwiches called smørrebrød, e.g. with smoked salmon and cream cheese or boiled eggs and shrimps or sliced boiled potatoes, a touch of mayo and some roasted onions.
